Rachel Robertson

Rachel Robertson is the Chief Academic Officer at Bright Horizons. She and her team created the Discovery Driven Learning approach. Firmly aligned with the science of early learning, the Discovery Driven Learning approach uses children’s natural curiosities and interests as a springboard for multi-disciplinary play-based learning.

As an author of several books and articles, frequent guest speaker, and leader, Rachel passionately advocates for the success of early learners, educators, and parents. She is also the proud mother of two daughters.

As the Senior Manager, Parenting Education and Resources at Bright Horizons with 15 years of experience as a parenting and child development educator, researcher, writer, and mother of three, Claire is committed to ensuring families feel included in and supported through their child’s education.
